ABOUT THIS DEGREE PROGRAM: The degree program consists of six courses which are the equivalent of thirty hours of study and a dissertation which is the equivalent of twenty hours of study. Texts must be selected from the list of Authorized Textbooks provided below. Although all texts may be ordered simultaneously, assignments must be submitted one at a time. Once a textbook is read, a 10 to 20-page paper describing what was read must be submitted for grading. A four to six-page paper is required for each No Travel Seminar. We are simply asking students for a summary of the material. Take time to review the How to Submit Your Work tab concerning submission of assignments.
SPECIFIC DEGREE PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS: The degree program requires a total of six courses (30 hours) and a dissertation (20 hours). A total of six authorized textbooks must be selected from the eight categories provided below depending on the dissertation theme. Electives are not permitted for this degree program. The Seminars authorized below may be purchased from the No Travel Seminar tab. No Travel Seminars are optional. A maximum of two No Travel Seminars may be utilized for this program as specified below.
Courses/Textbooks may not be utilized for more than one degree program. Some students will choose to pursue more than one degree in the same area of study. If this is the case, proceed with caution to avoid duplicating coursework.
