Master of Arts in Ministry

Purpose:
To enable the student to expand his/her academic and practical knowledge in ministry.

Degree Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree from an approved school, plus 30/hrs. (Seven five-hour courses constitute the thirty five hours). All course work may be emailed to schoolassignment@aol.com or mailed to the school address at:

Assignments mailed to the school should always be accompanied with a self addressed stamped envelope so that the work may be returned.

Curriculum:
Seven of the following books may be chosen. Your books may be ordered at one time, however, Students are encouraged to take one course at a time. Each book constitutes five hours of credit or one course. The student may suggest two alternate textbooks to be approved by a faculty advisor.

  • MIN 670 Dictionary of Pastoral Care and Counseling, by Rodney J. Hunter
  • MIN 690 The 21 Most Powerful Minutes In A Leaders Day: Revitalize Your Spirit And Empower Your Leadership by John C.Maxwell

All papers should be typed, double-spaced. For each book complete the following:

  • Summarize each chapter of the book.
  • We are looking for an overall good summary of the book. Demonstrate in the paper that you have read the material.  Book summaries average between ten to fifteen pages.
