Master of Arts in Church Administration

Purpose:
To provide comprehensive understanding to church administration through a wide arrange of courses.

Degree Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree from an approved school.  (Seven five-hour courses constitute the thirty five hours). All course work may be emailed to schoolassignment@aol.com or mailed to the school address at:

Assignments mailed to the school should always be accompanied with a self addressed stamped envelope so that the work may be returned.

Curriculum:
Seven of the following books may be chosen. Your books may be ordered at one time, however, Students are encouraged to take one course at a time. Each book constitutes five hours of credit or one course. The student may suggest two alternate textbooks to be approved by a faculty advisor.

  • CA 640 The Purpose Driven Church, by Rick Warren
  • CA 650 Leading Life-Changing Small Groups, by Bill Donahue
  • CA 670 Christian Coaching: Helping Others Turn Potential into Reality, by Gary R. Collins
  • CA 680 Body Politics: Five Practices of the Christian Community Before the Watching World, by John Howard
  • CA 690 When God Builds a Church: 10 Principles for Growing a Dynamic Church, by Bob Russell
  • CA 695 Leadership Handbook of Management and Administration, by James D. Berkley

All papers should be typed, double-spaced and checked for spelling and grammar.  For each book write a ten to fifteen page paper addressing the following:

  • What is the content of the book?
  • What are the major themes of the book?
  • What are the ten most practical truths of the book for everyday church administration?
  • How will this book be useful to you in future church administration?
  • Basically summarize the book in ten to fifteen pages.
