Bachelor of Arts in Theology

Purpose:
The purpose of this degree is to acquaint the student with a broad perspective of Christian theology.

Students Who Enroll May 1, 2009 and After, Must Complete Eight Courses, If They Have Eighty Hours of Previous Life Experience and Education.

Degree Requirements: 40 Hours or Eight Courses May 1, 2009
The bachelor degree program in theology requires120 credit hours. Eighty  (80) hours of previous education or life experience may be granted. Forty  (40) hours of coursework must be completed at Newburgh Theological Seminary and College of the Bible before the degree is granted. Eight 5-hour courses constitute the thirty (40) hours needed. All coursework is either emailed or sent via USPS to the students academic advisor.

You are allowed up to four ( 4  ) No Travel Seminars or Accelerated Seminars. No Travel Seminars are never
required but are an option. A seminar will take the place of a textbook. No Travel Seminars brings the class to your computer and may be watched at your convenience.   (2/1/10)

NTS expects a good ten to twenty page summary paper of each textbook for all degree programs. Typed, double-spaced,Font type
should be 10 - 12. Microsoft Word is preferred when emailing an attachment. If Microsoft Word is unavailable, assignments may be copied and pasted into the body of your email. Please review your paper for spelling and grammar errors before submitting.
