Bachelor of Arts in Ministry

Purpose:The purpose of this degree is to broaden the student's perspectives and understanding of Christian ministry.
 

 

Beginning May 1, 2009 and after, This degree program will require Eight courses if the student has at least eighty hours of previous life experience or education.


Degree Requirements:
The bachelor degree program in ministry requires120 credit hours. Eighty (80) hours of previous education or life experience may be granted. Forty (40) hours of coursework must be completed at Newburgh Theological Seminary and College of the Bible before the degree is granted. Eight 5-hour courses constitute the forty (40)hours needed. All coursework is either emailed  to schoolassignment@aol.com or sent via USPS to Newburgh

Curriculum:
Eight of the following books may be chosen. Your books may be ordered at one time, however, Students are encouraged to take one course at a time.

No Travel Seminars are an option but not required. The Ministry degree program is the only program
that allows you to use all seminar courses if you desire.  You may also use a mixture of textbooks and seminars. You choose. No Travel Seminars brings the class to your computer. You may watch it at your convenience.  The seminar takes the place of a textbook. A couple of times a year we offer seminars in Indiana. Watch the seminar page for these seminars. All seminars available are listed
on the No Travel Seminar page. Seminars are additional cost but are optional.

After you have read your first book complete the following assignment:

  • Submit coursework via email or mail.  Email is faster.

    If mailing assignments, include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for the return of coursework and grade.
    Also, please include the P.O. Box number 1238 when mailing.
    NTS expects a good ten to twenty page summary paper of each textbook for all degree programs. Typed, double-spaced, Font type
    should be 10 - 12. Microsoft Word is preferred when emailing an attachment. If Microsoft Word is unavailable, assignments may be copied and pasted into the body of your email. Please review your paper for spelling and grammar errors before submitting.

    Seminar papers require 4 - 5 pages, font size 10 - 12.
